Dathanna de Gray Mirage by alteride Dathanna de Gray Mirage by alteride

Damn this limited title-policy XP

Commission for :icongatekat:, G1 Mirage imported into an AU Bayverse. So a complete redesign of him, but keeping a few basics from G1.

Dathanna de Gray Mirage.

He's supposed to be all elegant grace -- designed to be a graceful, lithe, very attractive mech. Meant to catch optics and look good on someone's arm.

And my 1st take on a Bayformer :D

Alt mode is a concept car BMW Concept Vision Efficientdynamics…

Dathanna de Gray Mirage Gatekat & femme4jack
Transformers Hasbro/Takara

:iconfave-plz: Everyone who faves - Thank you :blowkiss: it means alot.

Oohh, I like this one. He looks something like a chivalry knight...

Thank you, that was what he was meant to feel like, indeed. Commissionner wanted him to have a noble-like look to go with his refined demaneor, and I opted to give him a vibe of 17th-century French Musketeer…
Thank you for the new faves :)

Oh awesome design for Mirage and his weapon just looks cool. Being an elegant BMW is so Mirage lol

I rather saw that car as "nightmare" when I looked at it and realized I had to make a TF out of it - 1st commish, 1st challenge ^^
Thank you ! Mirage being a noble-class bot in commissionner's universe, mech pose and weapons borrow to 17/18th century's nobles/musketeers to enhance his refined manners (the filigree being a nobility sign)

The car is really complex and does look like a nightmare to design a TF from lol! Can definitely tell a lot of though was put into it, esp with all the nobility touches :)

I do believe I have already commented on this...and yet I am compelled to do so again...horrid habit of mine:XD:

Have I mentioned this is amazing?
I adore how he looks very delicate and soft and its so easy to imagine him the the towers how :icongatekat: depicts them...and at the exact same time I can see the Ops Mech Jazz has made him into in order to be useful and survive. ^^; rambling slightly on the story...

And for good measure> I Just can't get past loving his heals, Its like with the Seekers, you just...have to love them:XD: Though the same should be said for (door)wings and winglets, they are far to distracting.
Would it be weird to say I've always wondered what it'd be like to have wings? Just because it's so unhuman...not sure what sort...or what for...just I think I'd have fun wiggling them and watching them over my shoulder:XD:....there is something seriously wrong with my brains connections.

He's just so pretty....and yet...scary and sad all at the same time...and then you go and manage to make him look proud on top of that, don't worry about bad colours-he looks stunning, all creamy and golden and then these flashes of blue!
He's Shine...which means I've been distracted by him probably long then I first thought.

You're very talented, I'm jealous, I can draw trees...nice trees...but so far, just trees...

~drowns under the compliment~ Yes you did, but hey, praise's always welcome.

Hehe I think girls love high heeled-mechs because of high heels so much being a part of feminine apparatus, so finding high heels on males gives them a feminine vibe that comforts girls around them. Just my opinion XD
Given my phobia of pheights I'm not yearning to have wings. I like to feel my two feet standing on Earth. But Ithink if humans were to have wings a whole new body language would come along... Just like birds. How you raise/lower them could tell if you're happy or sad, that you open them slightly or tighten them around yourself... I see it that way with winged TFs at least - off topic ~slaps herself and goes back to packing suitcase for tomorrow~

Trees are awesome. Would you teach me to draw trees ?- want to draw a personal pic taking place in park but have issues with them. ^^;

~saves from drowning~ Have a cookie :cookie:

Heh, that could be a part of it too I feel-plus, I've yet to see legs not improved by wearing a pair of heals:XD:
I'm...iffy on heights, it's not the height it's self its the 'what happens when whatever I'm in/on ect. breaks and I fall' that gets me.
I think it'd be a whole nother thing, I'd be even more see through with wings-it'd be enough to all but read my mind...though-depending on what sort would impact fun aspect of it...I mean cause what sorta wings would people have? Birds have feathers, Bats have I kinda think we'd have wings similar to Bats, bigger though, even more so if we actaully had to use them to fly- the muscles needed for that-and the strength behind them...~slaps self with pillow and gets back to writing about her aliens~

BTW> Where you going if you don't mind me asking???

Heh, I can try:blush: I'm still working on my tree technique but sure I'll give it a go. I won't even try and ask you to teach me to draw Bots. Gah-I'm so anti technology for someone who lives online:XD: the whole digital art thing freaks me out-plus, I watched a friend fiddling with Photoshop one day and got scared
